Cherry Lemonade
A tart-sweet twist on classic lemonade made with fresh cherries and lemon juice. Cherries provide anthocyanins and polyphenols that support heart health and help reduce inflammation, while lemons add vitamin C for immune support and brightness. Refreshing, vibrant, and made for warm days.
Ingredients
- 6 lemons, peeled
- 3 cups water
- 1 ½ cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 12 basil or mint leaves, optional
- 4 tablespoon maple syrup, optional
Directions
- Wash all produce well.
- Juice lemons. Stir in water and maple syrup, if using. Set aside.
- Juice the cherries with the herbs, if using.
- Combine with the juiced lemons and taste, adding more maple syrup if desired.
- Serve and enjoy.
