Fire Cider Shots
Inspired by traditional fire cider, this shot combines citrus, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and honey with a kick of cayenne.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 oranges
- 3 lemons
- 3-inch piece fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- Pinch cayenne pepper

Wash all produce well.

Combine the apple cider vinegar and minced garlic. Let sit for 10 minutes, then strain and reserve the vinegar.

Peel the oranges and lemons, then cut all produce into pieces that fit your juicer.

Juice starting with the ginger, then alternate with the remaining produce.

Stir in the garlic-infused vinegar, honey, and cayenne until the honey has dissolved.

Divide evenly among eight 2-ounce shot bottles. Refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Note
- Shake well before drinking
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days, or freeze in ice cube trays for up to 2 months.
- Strained garlic can be added to soups, stir-fries, or other cooked dishes.
