Spicy Pear
This light and refreshing juice combines the subtle sweetness of pear for a boost of fiber and vitamin C, the gentle licorice flavor of fennel to support digestion, and a warming hint of ginger. Adjust the flavors by adding more or less ginger or pear to taste.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pears
- 1 fennel, bulb plus fronds
- 1-inch piece ginger
DIRECTIONS
- Wash all produce well.
- Cut all ingredients into appropriate size for the juicer.
- Add all ingredients to the juicer and enjoy.
Notes:
- Use whatever cabbage is available or in season.
- Adjust the sweetness and sourness of turmeric by adding more or less of turmeric or mandarin.
