Restful Sleep Smoothie

This smoothie combines ingredients that work in harmony to support a restful sleep. Tart cherries are a natural source of melatonin, while almonds and bananas provide tryptophan, a melatonin precursor. Hemp seeds, rich in protein and healthy fats, nourish the nervous system and stabilize blood sugar, helping to promote a peaceful night's sleep.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups homemade almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen tart cherries
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup (or to taste)
  • Zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

  • Using the Nama C2 Cold Press Juicer and Blender, add all ingredients to the blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Divide the smoothie between 2 glasses and serve.

Notes:

  • For additional sleep support, consider adding ½ to 1 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder.⁣
