Classic Lemonade
On a warm day, nothing tastes better than a cold lemonade. This version uses fresh lemons and subs maple syrup as a gentle sweetener instead of white sugar.
Ingredients
- 6 lemons, peeled
- 3 cups water
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
Garnish
- Large ice cube
- Thin slice of lemon
Directions
- Juice the lemons.
- Stir in the water and maple syrup.
- Taste, adding more maple syrup for a sweeter lemonade.
- Chill and serve over ice.
- You can use the Citrus Attachment or place peeled lemons through the juicer.
- Easily double or triple the recipe to fill a large pitcher.
