Melon Lime Slushie
A 3-ingredient summer slushie made with frozen watermelon and honeydew. Freezing the fruit first keeps the drink icy and concentrated without watering down the natural sweetness.
Ingredients
- 2 cups watermelon, peeled
- 1 cup honeydew melon, peeled
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½ cup water
- Chili salt, for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Spread the watermelon and honeydew on a tray and freeze for 2-3 hours.
- Let the frozen fruit sit for a minute or two to thaw slightly. Then, add the frozen melon, lime juice, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Pour into glasses garnished with chili salt. Serve immediately.
