Nourishing Sweet Heat
This juice is extremely nourishing, with antioxidant rich carrots and anti-inflammatory ingredients turmeric and ginger. Lemon is added for its Vitamin C and some apples for their sweetness which helps to offset the heat of the fresh roots. We use a pinch of pepper to top our finished juice as it is said to help with the absorption of the turmeric into the body. We like to share the widely accepted and researched benefits of our juicing ingredients to remind us all how powerful our food choices are and how you can tailor your juices to support your body’s needs.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 to 6 Carrots, tops removed and chopped
- 1 Lemon, peeled
- 1 inch of fresh Turmeric Root
- 1 inch or fresh Ginger Root
- 2 Green apples, cored and chopped to fit your juicer
- Pinch of freshly ground pepper
DIRECTIONS:
- Wash, peel and chop ingredients as needed
- Juice in order given using juice strainer
- Stir in pinch of pepper
