Meyer Lemon and Asian Pear Punch with Ginger
Ginger lovers, take note of this easy-to-prepare punch bowl that’s naturally sweetened with fruit and a touch of maple syrup.
INGREDIENTS
- 5 meyer lemons
- 8 Asian pears
- 3-inch piece of ginger
- 24 ounces sparkling water
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup, optional
Garnish:
Large ice cube with lemon slice- Fresh or dehydrated lemon slices
- Rosemary sprigs
DIRECTIONS
- Wash all produce well.
- Peel lemons.
- Cut all ingredients into the appropriate size for the juicer and juice.
- Pour the juice into a pitcher or punch bowl and skim off any excess foam.
- Taste the juice, adding maple syrup if desired.
- Add up to 24 ounces of sparkling water to finish.
Tip: If you can’t find the specific lemons and pears suggested, you can use whatever types are available at your local market. Also, it’d be super fun to make ice cubes with lemon slices in them. The ice cube liquid could simply be made from the juice.
