This diverse juice is an excellent source of vitamin A and other powerful antioxidants.

Basil helps your body recover from fatigue with its vitamin C, while its vitamin A helps strengthen the immune system. In addition, basil provides anti-inflammatory phytonutrients, antioxidants and other immune supportive compounds.

Ingredients

  • 2 Green apples
  • 1/2 Honeydew
  • 8 Chard leaves (silverbeet)
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Small handful basil
  • 1 Small handful mint

Makes 28oz of juice (approx.)

Directions

  1. Wash green apples, chard leaves, basil, and mint thoroughly.
  2. Remove rind of the honeydew, core green apples, and peel lime.
  3. Cut all ingredients into appropriate size.
  4. Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy.
