Nama Oat Milk

A gluten, dairy and nut free alternative to traditional milk.

Many people we know have pretty serious dairy allergies and so we are always looking for yummy alternatives to traditional milk. We now find it super easy to make all sorts of wonderful dairy free alternatives with our Nama juicer. Homemade oat milk is the best for those who are also sensitive to nut milks and it is way more economical then both traditional dairy and nut milks. You can also buy gluten free oats to make sure that your milk is also ok for those who suffer from gluten allergies. This milk is great in smoothies and for gluten free oat breakfast options like porridges or overnight oats. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon to this recipe to make it extra delicious!


  • 1 - cup rolled oats
  • 1 - tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 - pinch of salt
  • 4 - cups filtered water


  1. Soak oats in filtered water for 2-4 hours.
  2. Strain.
  3. Add 4 cups of fresh filtered water, ratio is 1:4 oats to water.
  4. Mix vanilla extract and salt into the bowl of oats.
  5. Using the juice strainer on your Nama juicer, start spooning oats into the juicer. You can spoon the oats and water together. Leave the spout closed to allow mixing.
  6. When the chamber is full, open the spout and enjoy!
