Yogurt Parfait with Triple Berry Fruit Puree

The Nama juicer comes with three baskets for straining the fruit and veggies when using your machine. One for juicing, one for smoothies or purees and one for using frozen fruit to create your own sorbets. The ability to change out these baskets makes it easy to make wonderful fruit desserts and snacks. For this yogurt parfait we just fed some blackberries, blueberries and strawberries through the juicer using the smoothie basket.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup plain yogurt

DIRECTIONS:

  • Feed blackberries and blueberries through the chute using the smoothie strainer.⁣
  • Pour the desired amount of smoothie into a bowl or cup to make the first layer in this parfait. ⁣
  • Add some yogurt of your choice to create the second layer, we prefer plain unsweetened as we are trying to avoid refined sugar that is usually added to so many yogurts.⁣
  • Then feed some strawberries through the juicer, still using the smoothie basket and voila, out came a gorgeous, naturally sweet strawberry puree and we poured that over the yogurt. ⁣
Nothing else added! Just berries and some yogurt. We like the smoothie texture with the yogurt as it makes a nice change to just chopped fruit on your yogurt.
