My Review of the Nama Cold Pressed Juicer

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and attention to detail that has gone into the Nama cold pressed juicer. The juice this machine produces has a vibrant color and a smooth texture. The flavor is noticeably more appealing and even smells fresher than juice made at a high speed.

The Nama juicer created a higher yield of quality juice that did not separate or lose its beautiful, bright color. I appreciate that this juicer works at a slow speed of 43 rotations per minute, which allows vitamins, minerals and enzymes to remain intact,

I found the juicer to be extremely quiet yet powerful enough to juice kale, celery, and carrots whole – without having to chop them ahead of time.

I did a side by side comparison with this juicer next to a mid-priced, high speed machine and found it to produce nearly twice as much juice that was higher in quality, taste and brightness of color than the juice produced by the high speed juicer that used centrifugal force.

The different sorbets I made using the sorbet strainer were smooth and flavorful. The texture was actually just like ice cream but without the processed sugar and added chemicals.

Another feature I loved about the Nama cold press was the smoothie screen. It is easy to make a smoothie quickly with this machine while still having the benefits of a fresh drink made from a machine operating at a slow speed.

The thoughtful attention to detail with the hopper was much appreciated. I happen to be left handed and the hopper can be attached in two different ways, making it easy to juice for both left and right handed users. The hopper also has a top piece for safety so that if a child is juicing, their small hands cannot enter the chute. The lid also has a slight incline where larger pieces of fruits and vegetables can be added. The safety sensor keeps the machine from running if it has been assembled improperly, thus preventing damage to the machine.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the almond milk and other nut milks that the Nama juicer produced. The milk had a wonderful flavor and a smooth texture. Many people have told me that this was the best almond milk they had ever had, with a much fresher taste than any they had purchased at a store.

One of the surprising factors of using a slow juicer is that it actually takes less time to juice. Cleanup is also quick and easy. The juice can also be stored for up to 72 hours, although I prefer to use it within the first 24 hours.

Another feature I love about this juicer is that it is beautiful and takes little space on the counter. This is important to me, as I prefer to leave my juicer in plain view to keep it a part of my daily routine. Keeping it visible, keeps it vital!

I have been dedicated to juicing for over 20 years, and I am proud to recommend the Nama cold press juicer for its excellence, quality, and attention to detail.
