Apple Pie Smoothie
Naturally sweetened with apple and creamy banana, this smoothie is delicious with flavors of apple pie with ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Boost with 1-2 tablespoons of natural protein such as almond butter, flax meal, chia seeds, or hemp seeds, and it becomes the perfect fall addition to your smoothie rotation.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 small apple, cored and chopped
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ cup apple ginger juice
- ¼ cup oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup ice
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into two glasses and enjoy immediately.
