Berry Ginger Sorbet
A vibrant blend of mixed berries with a subtle kick of fresh ginger. Rich in antioxidants to help protect cells, with ginger to support digestion, this sorbet is a refreshing, balanced treat with a smooth, creamy texture.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 ounces fresh ginger, peeled
- 2 cups Greek yogurt, frozen in ice cube trays
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
Directions
- Cut the ginger into chunks and feed through the J2 juicer. Measure 2½ tablespoons of ginger juice and pour into an ice cube tray, dividing it evenly between the cubes. Freeze overnight or until solid.
- Mix together yogurt and syrup. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze overnight until firm.
- Switch out the J2 juice strainer for the Sorbet Attachment, then reassemble the juicer.
- Close the lid, then turn the juicer on, and load ingredients through the top hole of the juicer.
- For best results, load frozen yogurt, ginger, and berries one at a time. Note: The sorbet will dispense into the pulp collector.
- Once all ingredients have been added, gently stir the mixture with a wooden spoon to create a swirled effect. Serve immediately.
