Maple Balsamic Blend
This creamy maple mustard vinaigrette comes together in minutes using a blender—perfect for busy weeks and meal prep. Cold-pressed olive oil adds depth and richness suited to the season, while balsamic vinegar, mustard and maple cut through with brightness and balance. Pair it with leafy greens, roast vegetables, or grain bowls.
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
DIRECTIONS
- Place balsamic vinegar, maple, orange juice, mustard, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in the blender carafe.
- Blend to combine and create a uniform mixture.
- With the motor on low, slowly stream in the olive oil through the top of the carafe until combined.
- Stop and taste the vinaigrette. Adjust seasoning or add more maple syrup, if desired.
Notes:
- Orange juice can be substituted with water.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks (if substituting fresh with garlic, store for up to 5 days).
