Maple Pistachio
This creamy milk blends beautifully with coffee, highlighting the nuttiness of pistachios and the richness of macadamia nuts. For a creamier texture, you can add more macadamia nuts or use another neutral, creamy nut milk. Serve it hot or iced for a delicious latte.
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ cup pistachios
- ½ cup macadamia nuts
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- 3 cups water
- 3 espresso shots
DIRECTIONS
- Using the Nama M1, ensure the spout cap is securely closed, then add all ingredients, except the espresso shots, into the filter basket.
- Secure the lid and set the blending time to 1 minute. Press Start.
- Follow the prompts to open the spout. After 10 seconds, the spin cycle will activate.
- To serve hot, steam the milk with a milk wand or heat it on low on the stovetop, stirring regularly.
- Divide the espresso shots evenly among 3 latte glasses. Top with heated milk.
Notes:
- Espresso shots can also be added to the milk before blending, if preferred.>
