Iced Turmeric "Latte"
Turmeric contains curcumin, which research shows can help reduce pain, regulate blood sugar, and improve cholesterol levels. This latte combines turmeric with aromatic spices for a flavorful drink.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups homemade almond milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- To make homemade almond milk in the J2, start by soaking 2 cups of raw almonds in 3 cups of water overnight. Drain and rinse, then feed 2 cups of almonds with 2 to 3 cups of water through the juicer to make the milk.
- Next, place all of the spices and the maple syrup in a small saucepan along with 1 tablespoon of the almond milk. Whisk to combine.
- Add the remaining milk and bring to a boil on high heat. Turn off the heat and chill.
- Pour over ice.
