Herbal Carminative Elixir

This herbal elixir is great for priming healthy digestion before a meal. It aids in soothing any bloat, gas, or discomfort in the GI system thanks to its bitter carminative vegetables and herbs aimed at soothing gas and cramping.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 fennel bulbs
  • 1 endive bulb
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 lemon, with 1/2 rind
  • Sparkling water, optional

DIRECTIONS

  • Wash all produce well.⁣
  • Peel half of the lemon leaving the other half of the rind on.⁣
  • Add all ingredients to the juicer and enjoy 2-4 ounces before a meal.⁣
  • To make a tonic, mix with 4-6 ounces sparkling water.⁣
