    Healthy shots like these, which are full of vitamin C and anti-inflammatory ingredients, are a great way to maintain a robust immune system during a season of sniffles.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 apple
    • 2 lemons, peeled
    • 2-inch piece ginger
    • 2-inch piece turmeric
    • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne, whisked into juice

    DIRECTIONS

    • Wash all produce well.⁣
    • Cut all ingredients into the appropriate size for the juicer.⁣
    • Add all ingredients to the juicer and juice.⁣
    • Whisk cayenne into juice and enjoy.⁣
    Note: You can add this mixture to hot water or make into ice cubes.
