Warm Walnut Milk
Lightly sweetened with maple syrup and infused with warm cinnamon and vanilla, this walnut milk is perfect for sipping on its own or adding to a coffee or tea-based beverage. A pinch of sea salt brings out the flavors, making this homemade milk a delicious alternative during the winter months.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup walnuts
- ¼ cup oats
- 3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Directions
- Using the Nama M1, add all the ingredients into the chamber.
- Select 1 minute blend time and press Start. Follow prompts to open spout.
- Enjoy warm by steaming with the milk wand on a coffee machine, or heat over the stove, then froth. Sprinkle with cinnamon to serve.
Notes:
- Delicious as a base for porridge or overnight oats
- Add 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for hot chocolate
