    Green Juice with a Kick!

    The kick in this green juice is provided by a little jalapeño pepper. We added the jalapeño because they are known to contain the chemical capsaicin, which gives them their heat and is also known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Capsaicin has also been recognized by many for its support of weight loss and boosting of the metabolism.

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 2 cups spinach
    • 1 cucumber
    • 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of cilantro leaves and stems
    • 1/2 jalapeno pepper (seeds removed) add more if you like extra heat
    • 1 cup chopped pineapple (peel removed)

    DIRECTIONS:

    • Wash ingredients thoroughly.⁣
    • Cut all ingredients into the appropriate size for the juicer.⁣
    • Juice in the order given.⁣
    Yield: approx. 16 ounces
